BTC Constitution
Commonly known as BTC, The British Technical Council of the Motor and Petroleum Industries was formed in February, 1963, by the petroleum industries and the motor manufacturers. On 2nd August 2001, BTC became a company, limited by guarantee, registered in the UK No. 4263785.
In 2005 it changed its name to BTC Testing Advisory Group.Through a hierarchy of sub-groups, the BTC is able to bring technical focus to issues affecting its membership. The technical work in BTC is organized on a co-operative basis through these various sub-groups and technical committees.
